Earth Day at Appel Farm
Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 12:00-4:00 pm

Appel Farm is celebrating Earth Day, and our 2014 campers, their families, and any families interested in possibly attending Appel Farm this summer, are invited to join us for an afternoon of fun, outdoor activities at 12:00 pm and a camp tour at 2:00 pm.

For kids with food allergies, time away from home can induce anxiety at mealtime, especially for those with gluten allergies. The worry about what to eat, and if a child will feel segregated from the mainstream, may stop families from sending their child to a sleepaway camp.

Will was camper at Appel Farm from 2001 to 2005, and widely adored for his smile, his wit, his talent, his openness, his ideas, and his enthusiasm for making new friends. Camp was a safe and special place for Will, the people of Appel Farm became his family, and the bonds and friendships he made helped him grow and enjoy his life, both at camp and at home.
