Art Blocks include acting, technical theater, dance, instrumental music, voice lessons, painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, fiber arts, and more! Families are invited to join us early on Check-Out Day for a performance and visual arts exhibition that will showcase campers’ new skills!

Outside of daily classes, campers will join in our fun Free-Choice and Evening Activities. Every afternoon, campers can choose to play games with their friends, swim in our pool, create a craft in Afternoon Art, participate in a non-competitive sporting event or yoga, practice their art, play Ga-Ga, and much more. After dinner, the fun continues with our all-camp Evening Activities, which include a carnival, an acoustic campfire, a dance, several concerts and a night of arts workshops.

Your child will feel comfortable living with other new 1-week campers in our modern bunk buildings, eat delicious food cooked fresh on site, and enjoy air-conditioned activity spaces. With lots of choices at every meal, including fresh produce from our organic garden, we can meet everyone’s needs including vegetarians, children with gluten and other allergies, and even the pickiest of eaters.

While at Appel Farm, your camper will feel safe to explore the creative process, connect with kids who share their interests, and have fun! Our non-competitive, nurturing, and inclusive community is sure to help your young artist blossom!
